2017 save????

wow, I've never ever kept a poinsettia alive past the holidays, but this one is from Thanksgiving of 2017. not in the best of shape, and almost croaked last week, from lack of water.. who knew(not me) that they barely need water. I gave it a tiny dribble and it perked back up. OF course Banita helped didn't she???

will add a picture or two of the trees close to me, I pull them and spray all the time, but it seems to make them worse. I'm in the middle of acres of land that belong to farmers or neighbors , some of who do not maintain property. So hopefully the Commission will investigate???

NO,not a very good picture, but I was rushing after the dogs alerted to trespassers. the wild kind. I knew i couldn't get one with phone, so ran for the house to grab camera, turkeys are very private critters though, so out of all the ones i actually saw, 15 maybe, young ones, that i startled badly,, I only managed to get this one picture, They may never return after that scare in August, although i did hear them calling to each other to reunite the flock

... OOPS update, I did hear them I think yesterday morning while walking Shebaroosome behind the pond.Its all good, pictures or not. It makes my day to see wildlife.

Sheba's dream target!!!

Mighty brave deer, I guess they k now Sheba isn't coming out of the back yard, If she ever escapes with a deer in sight, i may never find her again, I believe she could run for days, she's been after a deer for a few years now, haha. Yes, i have a deer cam in the front yard, mostly set to catch car tags when people leave. It works if i get the angle correct. Plus i get to see wildlife.

Inventory House Valuables, not that i have many

aggg, looks like i need to get a fake hand or stand?? and of course better pictures. this post is more about creating an inventory of some items around the house for me and insurance purposes. 

I realized i don't do a very good job of listing inventory, after my Mothers wedding rings were stolen in rehab the very first night right off her hand.

 YES, we should have removed them even if she argued. Those rings have been on her hand for  over 66 years, and they didn't fall  off, 

Yes a police report was issued. we came up with a picture or two, but not very good at all.

 i'll be adding more to this post along the way. Serial numbers hopefully for electronics mowers etc.

Needless to say, my Mother has been very upset and still talks about those rings. 

My fav the horseshoe ring. and i still like the wedding set i chose many moons ago even if i did get rid of the X.

new neighbor??? August 2018

Well ,, Im getting a new neighbor, not sure if he bought the place, or just the new abode that is moving in. I'll have to add a picture. I may have to call the bail bondsman and ask again. I talked to him not long ago, and tried to get him to sell Just the property, but said not,,, Then i see all the action going on. I didn't want to stop and be nosey, but alas the Dude had ot pay me a visit when he cut my waterline. I kinda figured that would happen. he was fairly nice, and apparently works out of town, sometimes weeks at a time. Kinda like that, he seems to be fairly handy, he's doing most of the work himself. SO who knows ,, lol, he might come in handy. they buried most of the stuff that didn't burn. 

poor willow tree,,

I planted this weeping willow tree 13 years ago because i think they looked neat, but they can be a bit messy, so i fell out of like for it. AND it died, its now as large as some get, I'm slowly getting it down, Look what decided grow on it this week.

as you probably can tell, its not easy to get a picture of the black dog up close, she just loves to get in a person face,,, a habit she formed before I adopted her, she is mmmmmuch better but still very lively, Its a Rhodesian mix of her. I'll have to ad a few more pictures, mainly for my benefit, as Mila (yellow dog) is 13 and slowing down big time. 

early morning pictures, Memories and such.

So, I keep forgetting to take pictures in the afternoon after a long day, so this morning I remembered during my before work walk about. This Magnolia tree was given to me May 2005. I did not choose the best spot to plant it, and then In August of 2005, Katrina chose to dump a large tree on top of it, so , its tall and spindly rather than wide and bushy like the other. but still It has a lot of sentimental value due to the person who gave it to me. I must take a picture of the larger tree that obviously liked the other side of the house better. several years younger but wayyyyy bigger.

AND down below, my VERY small patch of green beans. I'm just practicing these days. LOL

went back a few days later and finally remembered to take a daylight picture of the skinny magnolia,,, given to me Mother's day 2005. 

BREAD,,, DAVES KILLER BREAD to be exact!! (SECOND CHANCES)

OH MY,,,, I've managed for the last several years to cut way back on bread, partly due to health, partly due to the fact I haven't been able to find LOCALLY a decent hard roll or I just refuse to pay 4.00 for 8 rolls or less. AND, when I do buy loaf bread, i usually end up feeding most of it to the wild turtles and the chickens. Fun but waste of money,,,

SO I was reading from an online acquaintance about an organic non GMO bread that is being made by a guy that calls it his second chance at life, due to ending up in Prison for 15 years, His business seems to have really grown, especially if I can now find it in CLINTON, MS.... and guess what it is DELICIOUS. True the slices are a bit smaller finding his way to a lower calorie and thinner, but he makes regular also, I believe he is based in Oregon, I must read more on his website...

IT's NOT CHEAP for sure, but it was on sale finally at Kroger and I bought a loaf, I think I can splurge when its going to a great cause , close to my heart. AND ITS GETTING VERY CLOSE TO TOMATO season,,,, I have pigged out on this loaf, the next one will last a bit longer if I can hold back..

Excitement will wake a person up.

WOW, arrived at work,, Guard on phone, asking me the address since they had the fire department on the phone. I think 10 or more firetrucks showed up right after me. I sat in the parking lot for about an hour before they cleared the buildings. I smelled smoke, but don't think they ever really found anything.
AT least it was a nice beautiful cool morning to stand around outdoors.LOVE the outdoors.
