Pineapple Guava bush/tree? 2018

I had my fears over the Pineapple Guava tree this year, because winter/spring was reallly crazy this year, too much cold and rain. they lost a lot of leaves which doesn't normally happen,,, but hay looky at the blooms this week. Maybe I'll beat the dogs to the fruit this year???

I owe a big thanx to Ramona!!! THANXXXXXXXXXXXxxx for the heads up on Ellen's Nursery in Crystal Springs, LOVE THE PLACE!! I did get two of the Guava plants, the teeny one was on ebay, lets see if it catches up to the other two. I was afraid I wouldn't make it to Ellen's so i went ahead and bid on the teeny one. SHOULD HAVE WAITED, but my middle name is not patience. I still have cleanup to do, but they are in the ground! and a nice rain blew through so, maybe off to a good start hiding the NEW fence and the Neighbors! Ellen was soooooooooo nice , she was out of the Banana Shrub and the Black elephant ears, but might have them in a couple weeks, if i can make it back out.
ALSO , I did get a couple of the Lavender Japanese Azaleas at the feed store. OHHHHH, and they had Baby ORANGE CHICKENS< no i did not buy them and I don't exactly agree with the practice of dieing chickens for pets. BUT they were cute!!
