This is a really favorite place my sisters and I used to take our horses and join friends in Emminence, MO in the Mark Twain National Forest (oops i think, i better check the memory banks on the Forest info).
I was riding the cliff when I took this photo of my sister on the Current river while sitting on the back of my trusty Leopard Appaloosa friend REBEL of many years ago.
The Cliff was called Jerktail, and could be scary indeed when riding up and down those cliffs some of solid rock.
OH THE MEMORIES!!!

Neat picture. I don't like heights, so I'm not too sure how I would have felt about that trail.

Oh I love your memories and that picture. I would love to ride horses along that area.
What an interesting blog. Everything from castles to tomato gravey;)
I didn't know you could grow loofa sponges. I might try that and save myself a few dollars. Didn't know Italian greyhounds were so small either. What a cutie.
I used to raise quarter horses. My last old mare passed away a few years ago. I miss them but it's much harder to keep horses in the north than it was when I lived in TN and AL.
Have a great day.
