Brown Grass and Itch Dog

Here we have the silly Puppawhuppa (aka MILA MONSTER), the itch dog i call her, I did take this one back in the winter before the grass went green again, she loves throwing her tennisball down and scratch her itchy back on it.
I did take Ramon's advice and added codliver capsules to her daily regimen. I expect it will take a couple weeks to kick in.

Hibiscus days gone by.

hay , well here you have it, the Hibiscus that did make it thru last winter, I had my doubts and it didn't stay pretty for long, it looks really ick these days, Oh and the horse has a habit of changing colors fairly regular. While ORANGE is my fav, I think the Ballerina Pink before was kind of a neat color. THis patch is one of the gee, I'll just put it here for now till I decide where it needs to Live???????? I dug up a few of this and that, added a couple Hosta, in the back ground is some odd plants called Strawberry Bush, not for people consumption, but I think eventually the birds will like them, SOMEthing odd i found on Ebay but Native to the SOuth???? I'll have to get a close up of them another day. Poor Hibiscus, this was a post about them??? what happened???

Why Didn't I keep it?

Very Interesting Moth found on the sidewalk at the office by a friend, she took this picture with her cell phone. It was humongous and beautiful (not that I am a fan of bugs), I think it was dead, now why didn't i collect it and measure it, possibly mount it? It's my favorite color and very neat critter. I should have measured the thing.

The Lion Sleeps Tonight

Here again, we Have the Mila Monster, a shortened version of her WHOLE name, a story for another day, Do you remember the Song, The Lion Sleeps tonight? For some reason Mila reminds me of this song, Maybe because even though she Looks like Labrador Ret. she is HALF RHODESIAN RIDGEBACK, As I raised Labradors many years ago, I believe her personality comes from the Ridgeback from studying them online. They were bred in Rhodesia to hunt Lions, she has a way of tippytoeing about at times. CAN you tell I am very attached to this PuppaWhuppa as my son used to call her, she is very entertaining, vocal etc. HAAAAAAAAa, look for more on Mila Bodila later, If your a dog lover, I know you can appreciate! PS, a plus I adopted her from a Rescue on the Coast of Mississippi just before Hurricane Katrina. She has helped me thru some tough times in the last 4 years. She hears all, tells nothing!
PS, IF anyone has tips for Skin Allergies in Dogs, all are welcome. She actually is doing well, with loads of vitamins and Benadryl.
PS again, DID I mention , Mila loves this willow tree, i think its about the same age as her 4 years. HMMMMMMMMmm, do trees have tree years, like dogs have dog years?
